The day that rolled on...

I revisited an old love today... rollerskating. My daughters and I headed off to the rink at midday for some beginner lessons.  A few decades have passed between visits for me, but the skates are exactly the same :O Beige and ugly.

The girls and I started out very tentatively, very. We were told to do small scissors to get moving and other things to get us used to the motion of the roller-skates...yep, we went old school.
We completed our lesson and were invited to stay and practice till the next session started at 2pm.
2pm, became 4pm. My girls obviously loved it as much as I did at their age. My only regret was selling my speed skates.

We've agreed that this should be a fortnightly event, monthly at the very most. We all loved it and we don't get to spend nearly enough quality time together as girls.
